Teams should document tradeoffs, identify affected groups, conduct security and privacy reviews, and provide escalation paths for concerns.
Incidents should be handled transparently: preserve evidence, reduce harm, communicate accurate status, correct root causes, and learn without concealing mistakes. Professional responsibility extends through design, procurement, deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning.
